Very few English language schools allow you to attend a free trial lesson. You might ask yourself why they don’t want you to attend a lesson.
At Talk Talk English we want you to experience our teaching method before you make a decision to join the school.
Our trial students take part in the lesson, allowing our teachers to assess the student more accurately. This helps to avoid placing a student in the wrong class.

Teaching Method

Talk Talk English uses an innovative and unique language training system that genuinely improves people's ability to speak and understand English. Our realistic, fast-paced lessons will get you speaking English confidently and accurately in the shortest possible time.

At Talk Talk English, 100% of all class time is devoted to speaking and listening practice. Our teaching method is based on a system of both continuous verbal question and answer as well as structured speaking and listening activities. Unlike many other English programs, we do not waste time with complicated and ineffective grammar drills - we focus on realistic language functions that help you learn English in a natural and intuitive way.

Our program is carefully structured to progressively build vocabulary and language competency - at the completion of our program, a student will have command of approximately 3500 words, as well as numerous practical language functions.

At Talk Talk English, all of our classes have a maximum of 11 students. These small classes and our unique method maximize students' speaking time. At Talk Talk English, each student spends far more time speaking per lesson than in almost any other English program.

All of our classes are taught by professional, native English speakers with clear accents. Our teachers conduct lessons at a normal speaking speed, which gives our students the ability to understand and speak fast-paced, genuine English. Our teachers also will help improve your accent and pronunciation, and get you speaking English clearly and confidently.

We provide complete translations of all our vocabulary words, and all of our courses are supported with audio CDs for home study. Our teaching materials use modern English and are updated regularly. Our system uses both American and British English.

Business English

We have developed a unique Business English course that combines the teaching of business English with practical business ideas. The course material is built around a fictional company, and explores everyday problems faced by businesses in a modern business environment.

VIP English is a service carried out exclusively by our Education Director, and founding partner, Trevor Syrad. Trevor Syrad is an HR and Management Consultant by profession with extensive experience consulting and training at executive level. He has gained important insights into international business having worked in the USA, the UK, Germany, Finland, Mongolia and Vietnam over the last 25 years.

Teachers

	Trevor Syrad (BA Hons) Trevor is from London, UK, and is a Social Science graduate of the University of Kent at Canterbury (BA Honours). He is an HR and Management Consultant by profession and has over 25 years of teaching experience. Trevor is one of the founders of the school and now serves as the school's Director. He has lived in Mongolia for three years.
	Tony Hoang (BA Hons, PgDip, CELTA) Tony is a British National and the Commercial Director and Senior Teacher at the Talk Talk English Center in Hanoi. Tony graduated with an honours degree inBusiness Economics from the Nottingham Trent University, U.K. and later graduated with a post graduate Diploma in Hospitality with Tourism from the University of Birmingham, U.K. Tony also has a Certificate in English Teachingto Adults (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge, U.K. He has over a decade of experience in senior management and in teaching in a variety of Institutes and establishments including Top Colleges and Universities in the UK.
	Patrick Kennedy (BA Hons) Patrick is the author of the Talk Talk English course books. He graduated from the University of Sussex (UK) with a degree in Social Anthropology with French. He then went to Prague to gain his TEFL teaching certificate from Oxford TEFL, Prague. After teaching General and Business English for a year, Patrick moved to Mongolia where he became Head of English at the Hartford Institute for the following three years. In 2008,Patrick joined the Talk Talk team as Head of the Academic Development Team. And now servers as the Education Director. Patrick speaks English and French.
	Jeremy Green (BA) Jeremy is from Silver Spring, Maryland. He has degrees in economics, political science and public policy from St. Mary’s College. He was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Arkhangia Aimag from 2005-2007. In 2008 he helped establish a Talk Talk English center in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he worked as Education Director and a member of the academic development team. He returned to Mongolia in October 2009.
	Ursula Jane Bradshaw (BA) Ursula is from South Africa. She graduated from University of South Africa in Ancient Near East History. She has Diploma in Travel and Tourism and achieved TESOL English Teaching Certificate. She usedto teach at Golden Key Academy in Hanoi to children aged 3-6 and at Raffles College in 2009. Now she is teacher and director of Children’s Studies at Talk Talk English Hanoi. She can speak English, Afrikaans (Dutch) and some Spanish.
	Chris Delaney (BA Hons) Chris is an Australian national. He graduated from Holmesglen Institute of TAFE, Melbourne with Diploma of Mass Media. He also achieved TEFL Certificate in 2009. Starting his teaching at Talk Talk English since 2009, he is a senior teacher with many experiences in educating young learners and pre-school children.
	Richard Hoang (BA Hons) Richard is a British national and an English Teacher at the Talk Talk English Center in Hanoi. Richard graduated with an honours degree in Hospitality Business Management from the University of Birmingham, U.K. and completed his Certificate in English Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge, U.K. He has several years experience teaching English to kids and adults of all ages. Richard has lived in Vietnam for over four years and can also speak basic Vietnamese.
	Benjamin Alexander Fraser (BA) Benjamin is a British national and graduated with BAin English Literature. From 2007, he taught English as a Second Language (ESL)in Hanoi where he was the only foreign teacher, and he taught students from the ages of 5 to 55. He was Head of Education and Consultancy (TOEIC, IELTS) for one year ata private Vietnamese-owned school. And now he is teacher at Talk Talk English. He can speak Dutch, German and French.
	Sarah Turner (BSc Hons) Sarah is from England. She achieved BSc Hons 1^st in Business and Management Studies at University of Bradford, UK. She is a full member of Market Research Society. She has experienced about 10 years in marketing field before becoming a teacher at Talk Talk English. She achieved TEFL Certificate.
	Rhys Daniel Marshall (Ba) Rhys is from NewZealand. He achieved a Diploma in Exercise Science at Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand. He also had TEFL Certificate from Patong Language School, Patong, Thailand. He completed a 4 week intensive English Teacher Training course in Patong. He was an English Teacher in Thailand and China. He started his teaching at Talk Talk English since 2010.
	Peter Lawrence (BS) Peter is from the United States, and has a degree in Business Administration from California State University. He has worked throughout the world as a consultant in business management, sales, and hospitality. He has worked with several well known local companies training and managing their staff to international standards.
